This Policy applies to personal data collected through this website. Personal data we receive in the course of providing legal services is governed by our engagement terms and our professional duty of confidentiality as lawyers.

2. Personal data we collect

Data you give us: when you use our contact form, send us an email or apply for a position, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, organisation, the content of your message and, for job applications, your CV and related documents.

Data collected automatically: when you visit the website, our servers and the tools described below may record technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited and the date and time of your visit.

3. How we use your personal data

  • To respond to your enquiries and requests;
  • To assess job applications;
  • To protect the website against spam, abuse and unauthorised access;
  • To understand how the website is used and improve its content;
  • To comply with our obligations under applicable law.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not send you marketing communications without your consent.

We process personal data in accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection No. 91/2025/QH15 of Vietnam and its implementing regulations. We use the following service providers, which may process personal data on our behalf:

  • Website hosting provider, which stores the website and its data;
  • Google Analytics (through Google Site Kit), to measure website traffic;
  • Google reCAPTCHA, to protect our forms from spam;
  • Gmail (Google), to send notification emails from the website (see section 6).

Some of these providers may store or process data on servers located outside Vietnam. We also disclose personal data to competent authorities where required by law.

6. Use of Google API Services

This website uses the Gmail API solely to send emails from our own firm account, such as contact-form notifications, login verification codes and system notices. The website does not read, store, analyse or share the content of any Gmail mailbox, and it does not request access to the Google data of website visitors.

IDVN Website’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

7. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes above. Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are normally deleted within 24 months. Job applications are kept for up to 12 months unless you agree to a longer period. Technical logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes.

8. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and login protection. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to be informed about, consent to or withdraw consent for, access, correct, delete and restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with the competent authority. 10. Cookies

The website uses cookies that are necessary for it to function and cookies set by Google Analytics and reCAPTCHA. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some parts of the website may not work properly if cookies are disabled.

We may update this Policy from time to time. The latest version is always published on this page, with its date of last update shown at the top.
