Discussion of issues that should be amended or supplemented in the Commercial Arbitration Law and the VIAC Rules as well as other arbitration centers refer to the provisions of the Model Law on International Commercial Arbitration and the Arbitration Rules of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law in order to promote discussion and exchange of opinions on proposals in the Lawyers’ Association’s Draft Amendment to the Commercial Arbitration Law. ADR Vietnam Chambers Law Firm and Hop Dang’s Chambers have worked with VIAC to host a series of Talkshows on the topic: Discussion of issues that should be amended or supplemented in the 2010 Commercial Arbitration Law and VIAC Rules using Vietnamese practice, international experience, and the UNCITRAL model law/ UNCITRAL arbitration rules as references.
